Dr Alicia Baxter

Paediatrician

Dr Alicia Baxter is excited to be bringing her Paediatric skills home to the Illawarra with the commencement of Seaside Paediatrics in Shellharbour in 2021.

Dr Baxter studied medicine at the University of Queensland, graduating in 2008, and went on to complete her training as a General Paediatrician at the Royal Children’s Hospital Brisbane, the Gold Coast University Hospital and the Sunshine Coast University Hospital. Prior to studying medicine, Dr Baxter completed a Bachelor of Science (Exercise Science and Nutrition) at the University of Wollongong in 2000.

Dr Baxter has a passion for Paediatric medicine and enjoys working with children and families throughout their life span. Her interests include Medical and Developmental Paediatrics and she is happy to look after a broad range of conditions for children from 0-16yrs.

In addition to her rooms at Seaside Paediatrics, Dr Baxter works as a VMO Paediatrician at the Wollongong Hospital. She also continues to work for Paediatric Outreach Services Queensland, providing telehealth services to rural and regional families.

When she is not working, Alicia enjoys spending time with her family at the beach, exploring nature, or discovering a new breakfast spot.
